Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help a site remember you and your choices.

Essential cookies (always on)

  • The session cookies that keep you signed in, set by our authentication provider.
  • Your browser also keeps a few things for convenience, such as a prompt you were writing before signing in, and, for the support chat, your conversation session (about a day), the name and email you entered and whether you visited before, so the chat follows you from page to page. The chat sets no cookie.

These are needed for the service to work, so they cannot be turned off.

Audience measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookie and keeps no identifier: it only collects anonymous, aggregated data (the pages viewed, the site you came from, your country, your type of device and browser), and it cannot follow you across sites.

Advertising

We use Google Ads to measure our ads: Google's tag sets cookies that tell us whether a visit that came from an ad led to an account being created. These cookies last up to 13 months.

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and whenever we can't tell where you are), the tag is loaded only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner; if you decline, nothing from Google Ads is loaded.
  • Elsewhere, the tag is on by default and you can turn it off at any time. For California residents, this is your right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information: we don't sell your data, and turning the tag off stops sharing it with Google for advertising.

Your choice is kept in your browser, and you can change it at any time: .

Third-party services

  • Stripe, for payments (essential, on the checkout pages).
  • Google, when you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Google Ads, to measure our ads (see Advertising above).
  • Resply, for the support chat (no cookie).

Managing cookies
